Prof. Dr. Wolfram Horstmann talks about his first impressions in his new function as President & CEO of FIZ Karlsruhe. The interview with him was conducted by Frank Scholze, Director General of the German National Library. In the interview, Prof. Dr. Wolfram Horstmann outlines the future role of FIZ Karlsruhe as the integrative link in the interrelated system of information infrastructure across the various information sectors - cultural heritage in libraries, archives and museums, research data, research software, patent information and AI. In addition to this integration service, FIZ Karlsruhe develops specific services for the information infrastructure.
